Using a Root Domain

A root domain looks like www.autofunnel.ai or www.google.com.

By integrating your root domain, you can display AutoFunnel pages on websites that look like www.autofunnel.ai/info and www.google.com/mail (or on your home site, i.e. www.autofunnel.ai).

A subdomain looks like www.help.autofunnel.ai or www.images.google.com.

If you want to use a subdomain, head to our help article here:

Our Generally Recommended CNAME Setup for Root Domains
1. Enter your domain with www. into AutoFunnel (Step 3)
2. Create a CNAME record that directs your naked root domain to the version with "www."
   NAME: @
the '@' is the bared, naked domain you bought. without any prefixes
      i.e. 'autofunnel.ai'
   VALUE: www.[yourdomain.com]
this is the standard version of your domain
      i.e. 'www.autofunnel.ai'
   TTL: 30 min
      as low as possible
this is how soon your domain info will be updated
3. Create a CNAME record that sends your root domain to AutoFunnel
   NAME: www
remember, we directed your root domain to the version with 'www.'
   VALUE: live.autofunnel.ai
this CNAME should direct to our URL so you can see the page you created
   TTL: 30 min
      as low as possible
this is how soon your domain info will be updated
4. SAVE THIS DNS RECORD.
For more domain help, check out our CNAME article.

Step 5: Go back to the AutoFunnel page and click I've done this.

That's it, you're done! The domain syncing can take anywhere from 30 minutes to 48 hours, so please be patient.
